Dr. Paul Baxley is a native of Arkansas. He’s a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and University of Arkansas Medical Science.
He practiced Internal Medicine and Cardiology in Batesville for 15 years prior to moving to Temple, Texas as a senior staff physician and assistant professor of medicine at Scott and White clinic, Texas A&M School of medicine.
He returned to Arkansas in 1994 to be near his family.
His special interests are Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography and CT Angiography.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine.
He is a fellow of The American College of Physicians, American College of Chest Physicians, American College of Cardiology, Society of Cardiac Angiography and Intervention, and a fellow of the American Heart Association.

ALLAN B. HATCH, M.D. |

After completing an undergraduate degree in Biology at North Central University, Dr. Hatch received a master’s degree in Public health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He subsequently received his medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Caroline University.
After residency in Internal Medicine at Howard University Hospital, Dr. Hatch completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Baystate Medical Center – the Western Campus of Tufts University School of Medicine. He spent an additional year at Baystate completing an interventional fellowship.
His interests now center around preventative cardiology, congestive heart failure, invasive / interventional cardiology and nuclear medicine. He has been in practice since 1996. |

| THE PRACTICE |

Saline Heart Group has been specializing in the most up to date Cardiac Care in Saline County for over 12 years.
We are a group of board certified cardiologists. Our practice is primarily outpatient based with staff privileges maintained at Saline Memorial Hospital near our office.

OFFICE POLICIES
Appointments

Patients are seen by appointment only.

New Patients are asked to arrive early to fill out paperwork.
|
 |
Established patients who arrive 15 minutes late for their appointment will be seen after those who have arrived on time, if the schedule permits. Otherwise they will be asked to reschedule. |

This applies to new patients who arrive after their scheduled appointment time. |
 |
At times, the provider may be required to attend to an emergency
during the time of your scheduled visit. You will be informed of any
delays, and we appreciate your understanding should this
situation arise. |

If you must cancel or change your scheduled appointment, please
call us 24 hours prior so that we may accommodate other patients. |
Prescriptions
 |
Please bring all prescription bottles or a current list of all medications with you to each visit. |
 |
To obtain refills of your routine prescription medications, call your pharmacy 72 hours prior to running out and have them contact our office for refill authorizations. |
 |
Please allow 3 business days for refill requests to be completed. |
Prescriptions will not be refilled on Friday afternoons. We suggest you check your medications prior to any vacations, holidays, and weekends to assure an ample supply during these times.
Confidentiality
Your personal and medical information is strictly confidential. No information regarding your condition or medical treatment will be given to anyone without your written or verbal permission. This includes spouses, friends, relatives, or employers, except when required by law, in accordance with HIPPA Guidelines.
Billing

We accept most major medical insurances (Medicare, Medicaid), Call the number on the back of your insurance card if you’re unsure if we are a provider of your insurance carrier. |

We will bill your contracted insurance company as a courtesy to you. |
 |
All contracted insurance co-payments are due at the time of the visit. |
 |
No insurance patients will pay $100.00 at the time of visit and will need to talk to our billing department for further payment arrangements. |
 |
We will not, under any circumstances, change diagnosis codes, or alter the medical record for sake of insurance company reimbursement. |
 |
We welcome Visa and MasterCard. |
