Peripheral vascular disease (also known as PVD or PAD)  is a growing problem in the United States that cardiologists around the country are beginning to address more aggressively. Symptoms of PAD are often subtle and are frequently attributed to simply being “lazy” or “tired”. Vascular disease is a major problem in Arkansas and in our community. As many of our patients have suspected, the problem is “poor circulation”. The same process that leads to coronary artery vessels becoming blocked, can cause not only vessels in the lower extremities to develop “narrowing“, but carotid vessels (neck vessels) can become blocked as well.

Saline Heart Group is at the forefront of Vascular Testing despite our small size. The technology available is second to none. The most advanced GE Vivid vascular ultrasound diagnostics, and a superb Parks Vascular Instrument is available for our patients. No finer equipment is available. Angila Cotton leads a group of highly trained vascular technicians that perform a wide variety of procedures.

Rapid diagnosis and evaluation for Carotid disease, Aortic aneurysm surveillance, Deep venous thrombosis (leg clots), Kidney artery stenosis (blockage), Lower and upper extremity vascular disease, Raynauds testing (cold blue hands) and other vascular problems are readily available.

Dr. Baxley and Dr. Hatch are excited about bringing these new high level services, procedures, and instruments to our community. Additional information is available on our website and by contacting our office.
