Nuclear medicine is among the most important diagnostic tools available to today’s cardiologist. Your cardiologist can now diagnose previous heart attacks, severe heart blockage problems and perform stress studies on patients unable to walk (“chemical stress testing”). We can even assess heart function. MUGA scanning is still considered a gold standard by many in the assessment of heart function. 

Saline Heart Group is at the forefront in terms of our technology and quality of services offered. Medicare and many insurance companies will soon require certification not only thru the state nuclear medicine regulatory commissions, and local health boards, but will also require certification of our quality methodogy and clinical ability by the ICANL (see Press Release on our website). We received this additional certification last year. Our dedicated nuclear staff is headed by Becky Baggett, a registered nuclear technologist and a registered nurse.
