Echocardiography is perhaps the most important and frequently utilized diagnostic tool available to today's cardiologist.  It allows the cardiologist to "see"  and evaluate the function of each wall of the heart and also assess heart valve  function.  It is a most important tool when attempting to determine a patients overall heart function.  It is a valuable way to follow patients who have had heart failure, heart attack, and those with severe vascular problems. 

Saline Heart Group has invested in powerful GE Vivid 7 ultrasound machines and workstations  that allow the very best in patient imaging technology, and offer the very latest in storage solutions for our patient's studies. The importance of echocardiography in today's cardiology office has been increasingly appreciated by the government (Medicare) and today's larger insurance companies.

Large insurers in our country are beginning to require quality certification. Saline Heart Group has been among the first groups in Arkansas to complete a rigorous accreditation process through the ICAEL. Our clinical studies, policies, equipment and staff have been careful scrutinized and given a stamp of approval.  This certification will soon be required of all providers of cardiac ultrasound services in our state. Linda Hyde, our technical director leads a staff of national certified technologists.
